Tom either answers his phone directly or calls back within a short period of time. He got to the work as scheduled. We added a couple projects after he discovered some problems with wiring. He seems to be very conscientious in his work. He came back after finishing to explain what he had done.

Tom Jarus is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with. He came over the day after I called him. I didn't even get any other quotes due to his responsiveness. He was very friendly and trustworthy. It took him one day to finish everything. If you're looking for a good electrician, use this guy.
A REAL Good Deal
I really can't say anything negative about Jarus Electric. They delivered everything they promised, and more. On time, on budget and outstanding work. The inspector even commented on the quality and organization of the wiring, which is not that easy to come by. If you're looking for electric work, you can't go wrong here... highly recommended.
Commercial Needs Met!

I've used Jarus Electric four times and have yet to be let down. My last project was to help me expand my electrical need for my new commercial space. Very understanding of my budget and timeline. As always both personal and professional - a keeper on my rolodex.
Residential Recommendation!

Tom and his team replaced my electric box, fixed all of the bad wiring in my basement, fixed an outdoor electrical mast and installed two new outlets in a bedroom. Excellent experience. I highly recommend Tom and his team.
No Mess!

Tom was great when he first came to give me an estimate. He not only crawled through the walls/crawlspace in my finished attic to see the knob and tube wiring, but he also spent considerable time in the basement talking me through my electrical system and looking at how things were done. I felt very confortable with Tom's experience as a licensed electrical contractor as well as licensed electric safety inspector. I ended up accepting his proposal and he came out the following week after my acceptance. They were on time and took care not to make a mess, even bringing an extra pair of shoes to wear inside since it was snowy outside. I am happy with the finished product and would definitely use Tom again in the future.

He clearly defined the cost upfront. He was professional enough to explain my options and offer suggestions that were appropriate for my project. I would definitely hire Jarus Electric again.
Prompt Estimate and Great Work

Tom was great from our intial meeting to review our requests and provided terrific suggestions. His estimate was extremely prompt after our meeting. Tom and Mike worked for two days to run the wiring from the basement to the second floor master bedroom/bathroom. It was very challenging as they ran wiring from one end of the basement, up through the attic, across the length of the house, and down to the master bedroom/bathroom. We appreciated that they did not give up and most importantly only had to put two holes in the bathroom drywall (which they patched upon completion) to complete all of the upstairs projects...After each work day was completed, they cleaned up thoroughly. They also took care throughout the entire project to stay as neat and clean as possible. My husband and I are extremely particular and we could not give Tom and his team a high enough recommendation. I plan on using Jarus Electric for all of my future electrical needs.
